Cm 12.1 Beta 4 For Canvas Xpress A99

     HOW TO INSTALL CM 12.1 BETA 4 ON A99

Finally most awaited rom cm 12.1 has been ported by ranjit kumar ported from device gione m2. so yesterday i tested this rom in my a99 it was working fine so in this tutorial iam going to show you how to install cm12.1 as well as 5.1.1 on our a99...

Requiments ;-

• A99 
• First downgrade ur a99 lollipop to kitkat
• Download kit kat rom from HERE
• Download cm 12.1 rom from HERE
• Download mobile uncle tools from playstore
• First u have to root ur a99 in kitkat..so to do this follow this procedure from HERE
• After rooting u need to flash philz recovery throurgh rashr download philz recovery from HERE

Lets get started...

First download the rom and place it in sd card

Backup ur imei with mobile uncle tools(from play store) backup ur current rom(not needed just for saftey)

Now power off ur a99

• Reboot ur phone into recovery mode and goto WIPE&FORMAT OPTIONS...then click on CUSTOM FORMAT OPTIONS...
• U will see this menu 
• Format/boot.IMG
• Format/uboot
• Format/system
• Format/cache
• Format/data
• Format/storage/sdcard0
• Format/storage/sdcard1
• Then wipe all above options Except Format/storage/sdcard1
• Remember:- wait while during the process don't remove the battery (if u remove it will cause to permenant brick ur a99) some wipe options like uboot,system will take up to 10 minutes.... so please be patience...
• Now select install zip from SD card1 and install ROM...
• After that again go to WIPE&FORMAT OPTIONS...click&do
• Wipe dalvik cache...
• After click on reboot system....
• After this reboot u will see that u don't have IMEI...so u need to install mobile uncle tools apk and restore IMEI backup from sd card 2 that previously u backed up it from kitkat....
• Now enjoy

• Performance is pretty much better than two stock ROM's
• Nice battery backup that u ever seen in a99...

BUGS;-

• SD card not showing in pc
• Laggy video recorder

FIXES;-

After installing this rom... u will face apk not installed error so here is small fix for it...

1.First u need to install lucky patcher
2.Open lucky patcher
3.Click on tool box
4.Go to last 2nd option
5.Change installation location to internal storage of mobile
6.Grant super user permission & reboot your device....
7.After following this steps u will never see that
apk not installed " error.....now enjoy all modded apps in ur CM 12.1..

Micro phone doesn't works with google app after installing this ROM

1.So download cm12microfix.zip from HERE
2.Now place it in sd card 1 and just flash it through philz recovery
3.Now enjoy voice search with google app

Finally fixed hotspot bug :-) by a Russian developer download this patch from HERE
For Fm radio bug download this patch from HERE

Just flash above patches through recovery
Enjoy the stable cm rom..:-D

HOW TO INSTALL XPOSED??

• Dont worry u can also install xposed in this custom rom download xposed frimware from HERE &Xposed apk from HERE...
• Just flash xposed frimware .zip and install that xposed apk 

Now enjoy the rom.. :-D
